Turok Series Bosses

From Turok Wiki

Here is a quick list of all the bosses faced from Turok: Dinosaur Hunter to Turok: Evolution.

Contents

[edit] Turok: Dinosaur Hunter

Longhunter: One of the Campaigner's soldiers, who attacks Tal'Set with a Jeep-mounted pulse rifle. He is very fast, but very simple to defeat if you know how to circle-strafe. Tal'Set receives the Pulse Rifle upon beating this boss.

Mantis:

A giant mantis that flies around a set of hallways, smashing down walls and spewing acid at Tal'Set. It has a massive amount of health, but like the Longhunter it can be damaged (and eventually killed) by any weapon.
Thunder, as seen on Turok: Dinosaur Hunter.

Thunder: The Campaigner's T-Rex, transformed into a giant cyborg with fire-breath and laser-eyes. Again, any weapon works so spare no ammunition against this monstrosity. Be careful of the small side hallways; they contain valuable ammo and Thunder cannot reach you, but he will quickly learn to breathe fire into the doors, filling the entire hallway with flames.

Campaigner: The main villain and threat to the Lost Land. Unlike the other bosses, the Campaigner is immune to many explosive and energy weapons, making the Auto Shotgun and Minigun your best options. If you've managed to build the Chronoscepter, this is the time to use it; there are no enemies after this boss and three direct hits will leave him at roughly 1/3 of his original health.

[edit] Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

Blind One Boss: Ironically, it can see perfectly. A giant eye with octopus-like tentacles and acid spewing membranes.

Mantids Queen:

The queen of the Mantids Colony, a very dangerous and powerful enemy armed with plasma guns and napalm bombs.
The Flesh Mother (Possibly Oblivion or related to it).

Flesh Mother: An arachnid-like monster that looks like a one-eyed Hutt that can easily kill you even when playing on easy. This is the only boss that does not die when defeated.

Primagen: An insectoid alien being that was trapped inside its lightship for thousands of years before the creation of our universe.

[edit] Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion

Oblivion Gunship: The Oblivion S.W.A.T. gunship is the first boss you encounter. You will fight OBSW-G at the breach on the office building rooftop at the end of level 1. OBSW-G has been assigned the job of guarding the breach. Take him out with a shotgun. Keep on the move to avoid the incoming spawn attacks. This first boss is not too difficult it will take about 12 hits with the shotgun to kill it.

The Xiphias: This amphibious mutant is located in the Sub Pen. You will encounter the Xiphias at the end of level 2. The Xiphias can shoot spawn through walls of steel. The best way to kill the Xiphias is to blast him the eye with the Shotgun. The Xiphias will take about 15 hits with the Shotgun to cripple it.

The Ophisto: The Ophisto is located in the Ophisto's Chamber at the end of level 3. First you will have to lock down four hatches to stop the Ophisto from surfacing. The best way to kill this boss is with the Firestorm Cannon. When the Ophisto is pinned down in the fifth hatch use the Grenade Launcher to finish him off.

The Warlord: You cannot kill the Warlord with weapons of any kind. Weapons only temporarily make him dazed. The Warlord can fully recharge his lifebar. The way to kill the Warlord is to impale him on a bed of spikes. You will encounter this boss in the Final Gate of the Canyon in level 3.

Alpha Fireborn: This boss is located in the fiery depths of level 4 under the pyramid. Alpha Fireborn spits fire at you and can reheal his lifebar by diving back down into the fiery pit where he lives. The trick here is shoot the lava rock above him so it falls into the pit. The pit will then turn to ash and you can then kill him. You need to kill Alpha Fireborn to get the Gem of Fire.

Oblivion Child: When you finally find the child in the last level of the game you will discover the child is in fact Oblivion. The child is a trap to capture and kill the Turok. After Joseph kills the child it mutates into a huge terrifying monster. This is the most powerful boss you will have to fight, of course this is Oblivion. The black hole responsible for sucking the lifeforce out of everything it comes into contact with.

Essence of Oblivion:
Oblivion Boss

When the Oblivion monster is killed a small piece of him will escape. This is the Essence of Oblivion. You must track down the Essence of Oblivion and send him back to hell. This is the last battle of the game. Oblivion will appear this time as Joshua. This boss is fast and packs some strong firepower. Do not be fooled by Oblivion this only looks like Joshua.

[edit] Turok: Evolution

Zeepelin Boss: You will encounter this boss at the end of Chapter 2 where you have to clear an ancient city. The easiest way to destroy it is to always use the machine gun, then fire the rockets since there will be nothing standing on their way.

T-Rex: You will encounter this boss at the beginning of the level Summit on Chapter 3. The fastest way to kill it is using the Bow, not the Tek Bow, as you can fire as fast as you can.

Styracosaurus: This beast is well armed with machine guns and grenade launchers. The easiest way to kill it is to use the shotgun loaded with 4 shots and let it come near you, (this may take some time to master but is worth it). After killing it, you will get the Nuke upgrade and proceed to the next level.

Bruckner's Tyrannosaurus: This is the hardest boss to kill since it's armed with machine guns, rocket launchers, flame throwers and very sharp horns. The easiest way to kill it is to use your Mini-Gun at medium ranges and if the T-Rex is near the trees, shoot at them to stunt it and use all your weapons to kill it.
