Subterraneans are giant worm-like creatures first featured in Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. They emerge from underground and will attack the player once they get close.
Subterraneans are giant sandworms. They have two large, pincer-tipped arms; two smaller, clawed arms; and two even smaller "arms" underneath. The best way to eradicate these creatures is to use the Minigun or Grenade Launcher.
