The Lost Land

"There’s a fungus among us! The Ligatrix is a combination of mold and fungi that have been left to grow for too long. His powerful whip-like tentacles can take a chunk out of your skin if you’re not careful. Listen for his hissing sound when walking in a dark place."
The Official Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion Strategy Guide[1]

Ligatrix are an enemy featured in Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion. They are small creatures found along the walls and floors of the chapter "Military Research Facility" and the Temple of the Damned in the chapter "Entrance to Oblivion."

Ligatrix are fungi that have grown to a large size. Compared to regular fungi, these mutated beings exhibit some degree of sentience.

Ligatrix are pretty easy for the player to take care of, as a single Pistol bullet will destroy them. The player should make sure to engage them from afar as their tentacles are quite dangerous.
