Ka'Dahn

Ka'Dahn, also known as The Softwind, is the first and last Turok before Joshua Fireseed who tried to find a pacifist way of performing his duty as Turok.

Ka'Dahn was called upon by Tal'Set during his dream-state, along with various other Turoks, to decide on the fate of the Chronoscepter.

History[]

Ka'Dahn's Saquin name translates to "A Cold Wind", and he lived up to his name, ruthlessly hunting Dinosoids across the Americas. However, one fateful day in the year 426, an attack on a Mayan temple resulted in a group of Dinosoids capturing his pregnant wife, El'Thya, threatening to kill her if he did not give them the Light Burden. He had no other choice but to give in to their demands.

This was not the end, however. Ka'Dahn had heard rumors of a man with weapons that equalled—maybe even surpassed—those found within the Light Burden. He traveled to a Visigoth province to acquire the atomic breastplate and sword held by that man, a prince named Aric.

After obtaining them, Ka'Dahn attacked the Dinosoids who captured El'Thya. Filled with anger, he unknowingly unleashed all of his hated into a mystical arrow powered by his emotions. When he realized how much his hatred consumed him, every living being around him died, including El'Thya. Ka'Dahn walked home alone and became a soft wind, living a life of non-violence in order to make the Turok lineage not so much an instrument of death, but a symbol of life.
