The Turtle is a native species of the Lost Land and is featured in Turok: Evolution.

Appearance

The Turtle appears as a larger, bulkier version of the modern day species. It is brown all over its body, with longer legs, a longer neck, and a short, stubby face. The shell is very large, covering most of the turtle's body, and the creature possesses a small tail.

Gameplay

This creature is a lot like the Iguana in terms of gameplay. It is harmless and only serves as an example of wildlife, not attacking or defending itself when under attack.

One Pistol shot is all it takes to kill it, but it's a waste of ammo to do so. The first encounter of this creature is during "Jungle Hunter" in the swamp, while it also appears in the "Zoo."
