The Smoke Grenade is a weapon in Turok. Due to its appearance in the last level, it is possible that the grenade was meant to be used by the player but may have been cut and used for cutscenes only.

Appearance

The Smoke Grenade has a cylindrical appearance with a beige coloration. It is around the size of an average grenade, if not slightly larger, and it has a mechanism to release the smoke on the side of its casing.

Gameplay

This grenade is never used in gameplay, and it is only seen twice in the game: once when Joseph Turok is knocked out by it before Cowboy is killed and once when Turok kills Mama Scarface.

Despite causing an explosion that blows off Scarface's skull, the weapon is not meant to be lethal. This may have been an error by Propaganda Games, in which an ORO FG8 Frag Grenade is supposed to be used instead.
