Acclaim Entertainment was an American video game developer and publisher.

It published the Turok games during the Acclaim era, such as Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, Turok: Rage Wars, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion and Turok: Evolution. The company's mascot was Iggy the Iguana, as seen in the Iguana Entertainment logo.

Following Acclaim Entertainment's 2004 demise, the Acclaim brand and logotype were purchased by Howard Marks and relaunched as "Acclaim Games," a company devoted to online multiplayer gaming, in January 2007.[1] The company shut down once again in August 2010.[2]

Canadian video game publisher Throwback Entertainment acquired 150+ titles from Acclaim's video game library in 2006.[3]

In 2016, the Acclaim trademark was acquired by CollectorVision Games.[4]
