When the first remaster was released, it was decided to simply note changes on their respective pages. I'd assume the same stance would carry over to this game as well.

They said it'd be no problem if they could get a hold of the source code, but if they had to reverse engineer it, we're looking at something a few years down the road at the very least. It took Kaiser four years just to get Dinosaur Hunter ready, and he had access to the source code near the end anyway! :V

The vote resulted in Bot of Stone.

Bots are a method of executing multiple edits all at once. If, for example, it was determined that a specific word had been routinely misspelled on dozens of pages, all it would take is a simple Find/Replace command and a click of a button for the bot to fix that spelling error on every page that has it. Otherwise, someone would have to go through and do it manually. It's a time saving device, essentially.

The bot was already created a couple of weeks back, but your name is appreciated all the same. =P

A big thank you to community support member Kirkburn for flagging our bot account as an actual bot. It was a very quick process, I feel. Over the next few days, I'll be playing around with it, making some test pages and test categories, just to make sure everything's set up the way it should be before unleashing it upon the unsuspecting masses.

An email would be great, Preda, but if you have a Skype or some other instant messaging thing, I might pester you for that, too. =P

Once the account is created, I'll be contacting Wikia Support so they can flag the thing as a bot, so it might be a bit...? Apologies for all of the delays, but work's been a bit hectic this past week, and I've wanted to make sure that I had enough time to get everything done.

And Preda, at some point, if it's alright with you, I'm going to need a more secure-ish way to contact you so I can give you the bot's password, just in case you want to use it as well.

I guess we're waiting for the tie breaker. Raziel, where'd you go? =P

So bad news, guys. This was something that I was afraid might happen (considering there are only so many words that can go with "bot"), but "Dinobot" and any other decent-looking renditions ("DinoBot", "Dino Bot", etc.) have already been taken by previous Wikia accounts. I guess that's just what happens when you try a name that is also a group of Transformers. :V

I went ahead and tried "Tek Bot", "Turok Bot", and their variants, and they're free for the moment. Do we want one of these, or shall a newcomer take the stage?

So does that take the win, then? There won't be any sudden, last minute votes for the Worst Pun Ever or anything, right?

I'm going to let the discussion run until maybe Monday or so, as that's my next day off and I'll be able to actually get things started then. You may now continue arguing about names.

A bot is an automated user account that can be used to edit pages. Usually they're used to mass edit a large number of pages all at once. They can perform spelling edits, fix disambiguation pages, and (the primary current use that I'm thinking of) move all pages from one category to another. All of the boring, repetitive stuff.

If by picture file you mean scans of the entire magazine, I'd be wary of doing so for the same nebulous legal reasons I'm personally against uploading scans of entire comic issues. I'd wait and see if Preda has anything to say about it.

That's a pretty good deal for two dollars, though. The comic part is an installment in Acclaim's Turok line, and it's one of the last entries before they shut down their comics division (only Adon's Curse and the crossover with Shadowman continue the story).

I just had the (admittedly kind of awful) idea of demaking later Turok games with Dinosaur Hunter's graphics. But that's just an idea that I love; I've been wanting Half-Life 2 on the GoldSrc engine for years now, lol.

Imagine Shadow of Oblivion or even 2008's Turok except not.
